This beautiful custom shop Martin is in wonderful shape - it looks like it has never been played! Designed to be somewhat similar to an Authentic D-18 1937, it has a premium Adirondack Spruce top, geniune mahogany back and sides, scalloped Adirondack 5/16" Golden Era forward shifted bracing with a 1/4" tone bar, complete hot hide glue construction, a drop in long bone saddle, a subtle but striking Macassar Ebony peghead overlay, Waverly tuners and a tastefully applied vintage toner. The neck is "full thickness", large and round with a gloss finish, and very comfortable to me. Unlike the Authentic line, this guitar does have a two-way adjustable truss rod. The label has been signed by CFM IV.
The tone is as you might expect: huge, deep, full and rich! This guitar, when built, had a retail price of $8944 - here is a chance to buy a top notch custom Martin Guitar in wonderful condition, at an affordable price!
