Collings OM-1A Deep Body - Adirondack Spruce/Mahogany (2008)

This pre-owned Collings OM-1A Deep Body is in wonderful condition!  This model is exceptionally articulate and balanced, and the deep body option adds volume and depth, making this guitar so versatile.  The Adirondack top pairs so well with it's mahogany body, providing power and smoothness across the midrange.  Its depth makes it a very comfortable stand-in for a dreadnought when that power is needed, yet it works very well with fingerstyle playing, blues playing, and frankly any type of steel string acoustic playing that you desire.  Like all Collings guitars, the build quality is top notch.

There is very minor fret wear evident, but plenty of fret life left, and also plenty of saddle height for future adjustments.  There is a small mar in the finish on the headstock, perhaps from a string change, that does not go through the finish.  I cannot find any scratches or dings on the body or soundboard.

Brand new, this guitar would cost well over $7,000.  Here is a wonderfully played in and in excellent condition used version for substantially less!
