Prawit Siriwat

Prawit Siriwat is an accomplished guitarist and composer based in Southern California. He has more than ten years of experience studying and playing with masters of jazz and improvised music from around the world.

Siriwat's approach to guitar education combines technique, musical understanding, and creative freedom to help guitarists reach new heights in their playing. Whether you're starting out with your first chords or trying to master a new playing style, Siriwat's methodology can assist you in becoming the finest guitar player you can be.

He has an MM in Jazz Studies from New York University and a BFA in Jazz Studies from The New School. His instructors included notable guitarists such as John Scofield, Julian Lage, Adam Rogers, Wayne Krantz, Steve Cardenas, and Vic Juris. In 2014, the New School chose him to lead a band and perform 15 live shows at the Bern International Jazz Festival in Switzerland. Siriwat regularly performs, records, and tours with singer-songwriters, jazz musicians, and experimental groups.
