Gibson started making their LG-0 model in the year 1958, which is when this unique and super cool guitar was built.  They were designed to be "student" guitars, and were made from solid mahogany for the top, back and sides with ladder bracing.  In the initial years of this model, Brazilian rosewood was used for the bridge and the fingerboard, as you will find here.  The guitar has a cool, vintage, bluesy vibe to it.  The neck is super comfortable and the guitar plays easily with low action.  The first four frets have some wear but have some life left in them and there is no fret buzzing. There are assorted dings and scratches throughout the body of the guitar.  There are seam separations front and back that have been glued.  There is a minor "twist" in the neck which doesn't affect playability.  This guitar has had a long life and has been played a lot, but is tons of fun and has that "mojo"!   Great to play as is, or for those inclined, it would be a great guitar to have converted to x-bracing.

(No international sales for the guitar)
