Adam Levy

Adam Levy is a guitarist, songwriter, author, and teacher whose music brings together jazz, folk, blues, and American roots influences in a vernacular that feels both accessible and deeply personal. His recordings as a bandleader—including The Heart Collector, Spry, and Town & Country—have earned praise for their warmth, originality, and understated virtuosity. Levy's music reflects a lifelong love of songs, improvisation, and the guitar itself. Along the way, he's collaborated with a wide range of artists, including Norah Jones, Tracy Chapman, Allen Toussaint, Amos Lee, Lizz Wright, Meshell Ndegeocello, and Lisa Loeb.
Levy is the co-author of String Theories: Tips, Challenges, and Reflections for the Lifelong Guitarist, a collection of essays about music, creativity, and practice. He has taught at NYU and USC, and continues to share what he's learned through workshops, online courses, and his Guitar Tips channel on YouTube.
