At first playing, this brand new Huss and Dalton Crossroads Deluxe is clearly a blues machine - clear, punchy and soulful. Upon further playing, you realize how versatile this great smaller bodied guitar is. Wonderful for jazz, strumming, singer/songwriter type playing, fingerstyle work and more, this guitar shines. This is the Deluxe version of the Crossroads, with a deeper body (4 5/8") and curly maple for the back, sides and neck. This one has been customized with an ebony fingerboard and bridge in place of the standard rosewood. Fantastically responsive and musical instrument!
Here is what Huss and Dalton says about this model:
"The Crossroads Deluxe is a whole other animal than the standard Crossroads, though they are both built in the same mold. The Deluxe is a full 4-5/8″ deep for a big presence, and the standard curly maple back and sides conjure up the clean, crisp essence of all maple guitars."
