Santa Cruz OM/PW - Sitka Spruce/Indian Rosewood (2007)

This Santa Cruz OM/PW, built in 2007 with a sitka top and Indian Rosewood body, recently came in for consignment sale.  It has a wonderful richness and depth to its tone, wide open and well broken in.  Playability is outstanding. 

There are a few things to note with this guitar.  There is mild bellying below the bridge and the saddle has been sanded down significantly to bring the action to such a comfortably playable level.  There is mild to moderate fret divoting in the first 5 frets under the first two strings.  Refretting is not required yet.  There are two small dings on the soundboard in the bottom of the lower bout near the purfling, neither of which penetrate the finish.  There are a few exceptionally small dings elsewhere on the soundboard.  There is a small indentation and very superficial scratches on the peghead veneer, and a small ding on the neck behind the 3rd fret.  There are faint "swirl" marks around the "B", "G", "D" and "A" tuners, likely from a power winder.  There is a small circular stain mark on the heel cap.  There are two dings in the side wood, treble side, one of which penetrates the finish, along with a few scratches that do not.  None of these scratches and marks affect the playability of the guitar.  Please see photos.
