This Santa Cruz Otis Taylor, Chicago version, is just barely pre-owned. This all mahogany guitar, based on Santa Cruz's H-13 model with Otis Taylor's preferences, is a bluesy beast of a small bodied guitar! The extra depth and standard scale length gives it plenty of punch and volume to go along with its mahogany warmth. Fantastic instrument, with fingers or flatpick, and with it's subtle burst and backlit tortoise bindings, it is super good looking as well! Excellent condition!
Here is Santa Cruz's description of the Otis Taylor Chicago:
The Otis Taylor Signature Model has been a mainstay in the SCGC collection for years. Otis worked with Richard to create a new ‘Chicago’ variation on the model for 2014 that would perfectly project his trance blues style, an all-Mahogany, 13-fret, deep body H reminiscent of our 1929 series, but with backlit tortoise bindings, custom finish and OT Chicago logo in mother of pearl. As always, no need for frets past the 14th on this growling blues guitar with depth and bite.
